Who we are

Partners in growth. Stewards of what you have built.

Arbor Partners advises businesses, founders, investment organizations, and globally mobile families on the accounting, tax, and structural decisions that shape growth, preserve value, and support long-term objectives — often between the United States and Asia.

Our clients range from first-generation entrepreneurs opening a second location to established groups running operations, investors, and family members in several jurisdictions at once. As organizations and wealth grow, so do the consequences of entity choices, elections, disclosures, filing positions, and transactions. We help clients address those decisions early, before complexity becomes difficult or costly to unwind.

Our foundation is tax, accounting, and advisory. What distinguishes us is the judgment, continuity, and senior attention we bring across disciplines. We built the firm so that experienced professionals stay close to the facts, the decisions, and the implementation year after year.

Cross-border work is a core part of our practice — about one third of what we do. We advise on controlled foreign corporations, transfer pricing, treaty positions, residency planning, and the U.S. information returns that accompany foreign ownership and operations. Our team works in English and Mandarin and deals directly with counsel, accountants, bankers, and other advisors in the relevant jurisdictions, so that a structure is evaluated from one consistent set of facts rather than two partial ones.

HOW WE WORK

Defined scope. Dedicated team. Partner review on every filing.

1

DIAGNOSTIC REVIEW

We start from the complete record — entity structure, ownership, transaction history, prior filings — and identify exposure before recommending a position.

2

ALTERNATIVES AND RECOMMENDATION

We set out the viable alternatives, quantify each in tax and in fees, and tell you which one we recommend and why.

3

DOCUMENTATION

Analysis and support are prepared as the work is done, not reconstructed afterward. Positions are documented to the standard they need to meet on examination.

4

EXECUTION

Elections, filings, and coordination with counsel, lenders, and your advisors abroad, through to completion.
